Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

About the role

The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS, SOCPA, and internal policies. The role supports management reporting, audit coordination, technical accounting assessments, and drives continuous improvement of reporting processes and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and supporting schedules, including consolidated group statements.
• Coordinate month‑end and year‑end closing activities with finance and business teams, meeting all deadlines.
• Review balance‑sheet reconciliations, investigate significant variances, and support budgeting and planning cycles.
• Develop and present management reports and executive financial presentations, providing analysis against budget, forecast and prior periods.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, SOCPA and internal accounting policies; research complex accounting treatments.
• Act as primary coordinator for external and internal audits, facilitating requests and monitoring remediation.
• Support design, implementation and monitoring of internal controls over financial reporting.
• Lead initiatives to improve reporting efficiency, accuracy and automation, including Oracle Fusion enhancements.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Procurement and operational teams, and mentor junior finance staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional certification preferred (SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA).
• 3–5 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, audit coordination or related finance functions.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, SOCPA regulations and corporate governance.

• ERP systems (experience with Oracle Fusion preferred).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
