Senior Fire Protection Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Senior Fire Protection Design Engineer to join our Dammam office. The role focuses on designing, coordinating, and reviewing fire protection systems for industrial and commercial projects while ensuring compliance with local and international codes.

Key responsibilities

• Design fire sprinkler, fire alarm, fire suppression, standpipe, hose reel, clean‑agent and foam systems.
• Prepare fire protection calculations, technical reports, specifications, and detailed shop drawings.
• Coordinate fire protection design with architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with HCIS, Saudi Civil Defense, Saudi Building Code and NFPA standards.
• Support preparation and submission of documents for HCIS and Civil Defense approvals.
• Participate in design review meetings with clients, consultants and internal teams.
• Provide technical support during execution, including review of material submittals, RFIs, method statements and contractor shop drawings.
• Conduct site visits to verify installation compliance and assist in testing, commissioning and final inspections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5‑10 years of experience designing fire protection systems for industrial facilities and commercial projects.
• Hands‑on experience with HCIS processes and Saudi Civil Defense approval projects.
