Senior Frontend Developer

About the role

Hams.AI is looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join its Riyadh office. You will create and maintain the user‑facing parts of an AI‑driven platform that helps large enterprises automate and improve customer interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, accessible UI components using React and Next.js.
• Implement new features, optimise existing ones, and improve page‑load performance.
• Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, handling real‑time data via WebSockets, SSE or polling.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into clean code.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to frontend architecture decisions, and maintain documentation.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices across the team.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience building production‑grade frontend applications, preferably SaaS dashboards or data‑heavy interfaces.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to manage multiple work streams.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• React, Next.js, TypeScript, modern JavaScript.
• State‑management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, React Query/TanStack Query, or Context API.
• REST and GraphQL API integration.
• Real‑time data handling (WebSockets, SSE, polling).
• Modern CSS approaches – Tailwind, CSS‑in‑JS, design‑system tooling.
• Testing practices – unit, integration, and/or end‑to‑end testing.
• CI/CD workflow familiarity.
• Experience with visual/canvas UI libraries (e.g., React Flow) is a strong plus.
