Senior Frontend Developer (Vue.js) – Remote

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to lead the creation of high‑performance web applications using Vue.js. The role is fully remote and involves mentoring junior developers while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive, high‑performance web applications with modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Build and maintain reusable Vue components and component libraries.
• Implement Vue 3 Composition API, Vuex or Pinia for state management, and Vue Router for SPA navigation.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Integrate frontend code with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and lead frontend architecture decisions.
• Implement testing strategies (unit, integration, end‑to‑end) using Vue testing tools.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Proven track record delivering high‑quality web applications in a senior or lead role.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and mentorship skills.

Required skills

• JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3/SCSS.
• Vue.js (both Vue 2 and Vue 3) and the Vue ecosystem.
• State management with Vuex or Pinia.
• Vue CLI, Vite, and Vue Router.
• Git version control.
• Vue Test Utils or similar testing frameworks.
• Accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).
• Optional but preferred: TypeScript, GraphQL, micro‑frontend architectures, Vue DevTools, contribution to open‑source projects.
