Senior Infrastructure & CloudOps Engineer

About the role

The Senior Infrastructure & CloudOps Engineer will design, implement and support the platform that powers the Masdr Data Enablement Zone, ensuring it is highly available, scalable, secure and automated.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Linux servers and enterprise infrastructure, including VMware vSphere or Nutanix platforms.
• Deploy, configure and support Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure resources.
• Perform capacity planning, patching, backup, disaster recovery and performance tuning to ensure high availability.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and automate provisioning with Ansible, Bash or Python.
• Support Git/GitLab repositories, CI/CD pipelines and manage container images and Kubernetes deployments.
• Monitor infrastructure health, troubleshoot incidents, maintain runbooks and apply OS hardening.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 5‑8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering and cloud operations.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux, Kubernetes/OpenShift, VMware/Nutanix and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Proven experience with Terraform, Ansible, Docker and Git/GitLab.
