Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Saudi National) - Riyadh

About the role

DeepSource Technologies is looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer in Riyadh to design, implement, maintain and optimise enterprise IT infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience across servers, virtualisation, cloud platforms, storage, networking, backup and infrastructure security, and can troubleshoot complex issues while ensuring high availability and performance of critical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure and maintain enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Manage Windows Server and/or Linux systems, including patching, upgrades, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Administer virtualisation platforms such as VMware vSphere/ESXi, Hyper-V or equivalents.
• Support cloud and hybrid-cloud environments, especially Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and related Microsoft services.
• Configure and maintain storage, backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Support LAN/WAN infrastructure and coordinate with network and security teams.
• Monitor availability, capacity and performance, and implement security standards, hardening and patch management.
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis and support HA, DR, migration and upgrade projects.
• Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams and procedures; automate tasks with PowerShell, Bash, Python or automation platforms.
• Guide junior engineers and follow ITIL processes for incident, problem, change and configuration management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of IT infrastructure/system engineering experience, including enterprise environments.
• Strong Windows Server and/or Linux administration, VMware/Hyper-V and Active Directory knowledge.
• Experience with Azure, AWS or hybrid cloud; enterprise networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPNs); SAN/NAS storage, backup and DR.
• Preferred: Azure, AWS, VMware VCP, RHCE, Microsoft, Cisco or ITIL certifications; infrastructure automation (PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, Python, Bash); Docker and Kubernetes.
