Senior Inspection Engineer – Refinery

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer (Inspection) to provide real‑time engineering solutions for a refinery, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop engineering solutions to optimise plant assets and improve efficiency.
• Support new installations, upgrades, expansions and in‑house modifications, preparing design packages and calculations.
• Provide technical assistance to Operations & Maintenance (OME) teams during maintenance, shutdowns and abnormal situations.
• Conduct plant visits, troubleshoot equipment and system failures, and lead root‑cause analysis.
• Assess and manage risks, perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Participate in plant acceptance tests, validate modifications and contribute to the development of standards and procedures.

Required profile

• Senior‑level engineering experience in refinery or similar industrial environment.
• Ability to deliver timely engineering solutions and respond quickly to operational abnormalities.
• Strong communication with internal hierarchy and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated with industry best practices.
