Senior IT Assurance Consultant – Riyadh

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior professional to join its IT Assurance practice in Riyadh. You will work on risk‑based assessments, control testing, and assurance reporting for a variety of clients across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Execute risk‑based assessments and control testing engagements, including General IT Controls (GITC) and IT Application Controls (ITAC).
• Participate in client walkthroughs to understand IT environments, systems, and processes.
• Deliver Third‑Party Assurance assignments such as SOC 1 (ISAE 3402) and SOC 2 reports.
• Support SOX audits by evaluating IT controls over financial reporting.
• Test IT infrastructure, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and business applications, documenting results and findings.
• Assist in developing remediation plans for identified control deficiencies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT audit, IT risk, or IT assurance; professional services experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Willingness to travel within the Middle East as required.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with data‑analytics tools and audit software.
• Knowledge of SOC 1, SOC 2 and SOX assurance frameworks.
