Senior IT Business Analyst

About the role

JASARA PMC is looking for a highly experienced Senior IT Business Analyst to lead the analysis and documentation of complex business processes. The role works closely with stakeholders to design IT solutions that align with strategic objectives and supports the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering and analysis sessions with business stakeholders.
• Translate complex business requirements into functional specifications and design documents.
• Conduct impact, gap, and feasibility analyses to guide decision‑making.
• Collaborate with IT teams, project managers and vendors to ensure successful delivery.
• Develop and maintain documentation such as process flows, use cases and user stories.
• Facilitate communication between technical and business units and resolve issues.
• Support testing activities by creating test plans and coordinating user acceptance testing.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in business analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5‑8 years of business analysis experience in IT environments.
• Proven ability to manage complex requirements gathering and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools and frameworks.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with SDLC and agile methodologies.
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP or PMI‑PBA are highly desirable.
