Senior Landscape Architect

About the role

Egis Group is looking for an experienced and innovative Senior Landscape Architect to join its team in Riyadh. The role covers day-to-day team management and design implementation, from the early stages of design through technical development to construction documentation of landscape architecture projects. The Senior Architect supports the Design Manager and the Director/Head of Department in administering projects efficiently and upholding the company's image and values.

Key responsibilities

• Lead teams of architects through the project design stages and lead the delivery of mid-size projects with specialist technical expertise.
• Implement the project execution plan and Design Management plan, maintaining quality controls and design checks.
• Assist the Design Manager in technical management, keeping projects on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Communicate with stakeholders such as clients, consultants and contractors to manage expectations.
• Take part in proposal preparation, including scope, design methodology, design management plan, deliverables and design budget.
• Prepare project documentation such as MOMs, design change logs, coordination logs and risk registers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in architecture with significant experience; a Master's degree is a plus.
• At least 8 years of experience in landscape architectural design.
• Diversified experience across project typologies in the GCC region.
• Proven track record of managing mid to large-scale projects and leading teams.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Permission to work in Jordan, by birth or treaty.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of landscape design principles, plants, construction practices, regulations, guidelines and building codes.
• Proficiency in BIM processes, implementation and workflows.
