Senior Landscape Engineer

About the role

The Senior Landscape Engineer will lead and supervise all landscape works for road and highway infrastructure projects under the PMC and construction supervision scope. The role ensures compliance with approved designs, specifications, environmental regulations and local authority standards while delivering sustainable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Review and comment on landscape design drawings, shop drawings and material submittals for road and highway works.
• Supervise on‑site activities such as planting, irrigation systems, soil improvement, hardscape and streetscape works.
• Coordinate with contractors, inspectors and other disciplines to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and municipal requirements.
• Oversee material inspections, testing, mock‑ups and approvals, and verify implementation of approved construction methods.
• Manage contractor correspondences, RFIs, method statements and technical submittals, and resolve technical issues on site.
• Ensure sustainability measures are applied and existing vegetation and environmental assets are protected throughout construction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including road and highway infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian municipal and environmental regulations.
• Excellent coordination, reporting and communication skills.
