Senior / Lead Full-Stack Engineer

About the role

FansPass is a fast‑growing Saudi startup building a secure tickets marketplace. We are looking for a senior‑level full‑stack engineer to join a small, hands‑on team in Riyadh and take technical ownership from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship end‑to‑end features using Next.js on the front‑end and Elysia/Node (or Bun) services on the back‑end.
• Define and enforce architecture, code‑review standards, TypeScript contracts and monorepo conventions.
• Mentor and coach fellow engineers through pairing, reviews and example code.
• Own the DevOps stack: Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers and deployments on Kubernetes/K3s.
• Monitor system health, performance and reliability; implement sensible observability and incident response.

Required profile

• Strong full‑stack TypeScript experience with deep knowledge of both Node/Bun back‑ends and modern React frameworks (preferably Next.js with App Router).
• Proven ability to lead technically without formal people‑management responsibilities.
• Testing‑first mindset and experience introducing automated tests into an existing codebase.
• Comfortable working in Jira and contributing to data reporting tools such as Metabase.

Required skills

• TypeScript, Node.js, Bun, Next.js, React, Elysia
• PostgreSQL, Prisma (or similar ORM), background job queues (BullMQ, Sidekiq, Celery)
• Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes or K3s
• Testing frameworks, monitoring and incident response tools
• Jira, Metabase, OpenSearch (nice‑to‑have)
• Object storage services (S3, R2)
