Senior Manager – Global IP Enforcement (GCC)

About the role

Alibaba International is seeking a senior professional to lead its Global IP Enforcement team in the GCC region. Based in Riyadh (or any GCC location), you will work closely with international brands, retail partners, regulators and law‑enforcement agencies to protect intellectual property rights across Alibaba’s e‑commerce ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and maintain intellectual property protection and enforcement initiatives.
• Provide counsel and strategic guidance to business clients, global colleagues and other stakeholders on IP matters.
• Stay current on IP law developments and industry best practices.
• Act as an external ambassador for Alibaba with rights owners, industry groups, government agencies and academia.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience with a deep understanding of IP laws, anti‑counterfeiting and anti‑piracy.
• 5+ years overseeing IP rights enforcement for an e‑commerce platform, rights holder or industry association.
• 5+ years of public‑speaking experience and experience organizing conferences, summits or large‑scale training events.
• Proven dispute‑resolution track record and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Significant international exposure and cross‑cultural understanding.
