Senior Manager - Procurement

About the role

Lead procurement and supplier management for all Botanica business units, ensuring the right quality, cost and timing while complying with group policies and ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop annual procurement plans and category strategies for plants, agricultural inputs, irrigation, equipment, fleet and services.
• Run full sourcing cycles – requisition, RFQ/tender, evaluation, negotiation and purchase order – applying competitive sourcing and delegation of authority.
• Manage imported plant sourcing, supplier qualification, lead‑times, freight, customs clearance and phytosanitary documentation.
• Maintain approved vendor list, evaluate performance, handle contracts, claims and develop local suppliers.
• Track savings, price benchmarks and spend, enforce procurement policy and keep audit‑ready records.
• Lead a procurement team of two FTEs, set objectives, KPIs and development plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or Agriculture; CIPS or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of procurement experience, at least 5 years managing a procurement team.
• Experience in agricultural, horticultural, landscape or construction procurement, including international imports.

Required skills

• Negotiation, tendering and bid evaluation.
• Supplier contract management and import/customs procedures.
• Spend analysis and ERP procurement modules.
• Fluent Arabic and English.
