Senior Manager – Workers Welfare

About the role

The Senior Manager – Workers Welfare will lead the Entertainment Business Unit (EBU) in ensuring that all employment practices and worker welfare standards meet the highest industry and ethical benchmarks across Qiddiya City projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans for worker accommodation and welfare.
• Design and execute a risk‑based worker welfare assurance programme.
• Conduct on‑site and off‑site inspections, interviews and fieldwork to verify compliance with Saudi Ministry of Human Resources regulations and Qiddiya’s requirements.
• Serve as the EBU technical expert on worker welfare and accommodation, advising contractors on best practices.
• Monitor implementation of recommended improvements and close out non‑compliance issues.
• Present welfare requirements at high‑level contractor mobilisation meetings and lead training sessions.
• Lead EBU Worker Welfare Forums and support Qiddiya‑wide welfare programmes.
• Participate in grievance committee meetings, ensure proper case management, and support audit processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a Level 6 Health & Safety qualification; membership of a relevant chartered institute (e.g., CIPD, IOSH) preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of Saudi Arabian labour legislation and related codes.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in worker welfare, labour rights or related fields, preferably within the GCC.
• Proven ability to work in multicultural environments and understand cultural differences.
• Valid Saudi driver’s licence.
