Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Fisher HR is recruiting a Senior Mechanical Engineer based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for full-time work on construction and infrastructure projects. The role covers leading mechanical works, overseeing network systems and coordinating with contractors and consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise mechanical works on construction and infrastructure projects.
• Oversee the design, installation and testing of mechanical network systems.
• Review drawings, specifications and material submittals.
• Guide site engineers and technicians in carrying out mechanical works.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and other project disciplines.
• Ensure work meets quality, safety and project schedule requirements.
• Attend project meetings and site inspections to resolve technical issues, and monitor progress against the project program.
• Check installed works against approved drawings and authority requirements, and witness testing and commissioning.
• Review contractor method statements and technical submissions.
• Prepare progress reports, support project handover and compile as-built drawings, test records and closeout documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience in construction and infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on experience with network systems.
• DCP preferred but not mandatory.
