Senior Network Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to lead and manage our network and security infrastructure. The role ensures a secure, reliable, and scalable environment while providing technical leadership to the network team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of secure, resilient, and scalable network infrastructures.
• Oversee daily network operations, projects, and incident‑response activities.
• Act as the highest escalation point for complex network and security issues.
• Define, maintain, and document network architecture, standards, and procedures.
• Manage and configure firewalls, switches, and access points (Fortinet, Cisco, HP, Aruba).
• Conduct network risk assessments, audits, and lead security compliance initiatives such as PCI DSS and GDPR.
• Propose enhancements and upgrades to support future scalability and business growth.
• Collaborate closely with IT, security, and compliance teams to align infrastructure strategies.
• Manage vendors and service providers to ensure optimal performance and service quality.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative, high‑performing technical team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in network engineering, network security, or a similar role.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated environments is a strong plus.
• Strong hands‑on experience with network security solutions, firewalls, switches, routing protocols, and network design.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and penetration testing/vulnerability assessment tools.
• Solid understanding of industry frameworks and regulations such as PCI DSS and ITIL.
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CCNA/CCNP, Security+, CEH or equivalent.
