Senior Network Engineer - Saudi National

About the role

DeepSource Technologies is hiring a Senior Network Engineer in Riyadh, KSA, responsible for leading and executing enterprise-wide migration initiatives from public to private IP addressing across applications, databases, servers and network devices. The role ensures secure, resilient and uninterrupted service delivery through careful planning, dependency analysis, execution, validation and documentation of network changes in complex on-premises, cloud or hybrid environments.

Key responsibilities

• Assess all servers, applications, databases and network devices currently using public IP addresses.
• Develop a detailed IP migration plan covering timelines, phased execution, backup strategies and rollback procedures.
• Analyze application and service dependencies to mitigate the impact of the migration.
• Design and allocate new private IP ranges compatible with the existing network architecture.
• Execute the migration securely while keeping business-critical services running.
• Coordinate with security, systems, application and operations teams to align firewall rules, routing, NAT, DNS and access controls.
• Validate and test services after migration for availability, performance and stability.
• Document all migration phases, issues, root causes and solutions.
• Review DNS records, classify them by criticality and activity, remove or update obsolete entries and set up periodic reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with IP migration projects in large-scale on-premises, cloud or hybrid environments.
• Experience in high-availability, mission-critical environments with zero or minimal downtime.
• Ability to analyze complex application-to-network dependencies.
• Familiarity with change management, rollback planning and disaster recovery.

Required skills

• Enterprise network design, IPv4/IPv6 addressing, subnetting and routing protocols.
• Firewalls, load balancers, DNS, NAT, VPNs and network security controls.
• Preferred: CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, Infoblox Technical Certifications or equivalent.
