Senior Operations Specialist

About the role

Serco is seeking a Senior Operations Specialist to provide subject‑matter expertise across Saudi government entities. The role supports the delivery of complex contract deliverables and ensures operational excellence through standardized procedures and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operations expertise to Saudi government entities based on strategic plans or ad‑hoc requests.
• Support a matrixed organization in delivering O&M contract outcomes, integrating thought leadership.
• Assist the Enablement department with implementation and understanding of standards across entities.
• Develop and standardise operating procedures for post‑maintenance testing, systems‑engineering programmes, equipment/tool control, configuration management, grounds & landscaping, facility management, emergency management, space, energy, cleaning, fleet management and procurement.
• Review procedures in collaboration with client‑partner consultants.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience on national or international major initiatives.
• Proven track record of continuous improvement and change management.
• Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree from an accredited university.
• Demonstrable expertise (and relevant accreditation where applicable) in O&M domains such as maintenance planning, sustainability, operating‑procedure development, post‑maintenance testing, systems engineering, equipment & tool control, configuration management, facilities, emergency, space, energy, cleaning and fleet management.
