Senior Oracle Financial Consultant

About the role

2P is seeking a Senior Oracle Financial Consultant to lead the implementation, enhancement, maintenance, and optimisation of Oracle E‑Business Suite financial modules for its clients, including public‑sector organisations. The role involves close collaboration with finance teams to translate business needs into robust Oracle solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide functional consulting for Oracle EBS Financials, covering requirements gathering, analysis, configuration, testing and production support.
• Configure and support modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets and Purchasing.
• Analyse business processes, recommend improvements and ensure alignment with best practices.
• Prepare functional specifications for customisations, reports, interfaces and conversions.
• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver and test solutions, including unit, integration and user‑acceptance testing.
• Investigate functional issues, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities and resolve related system issues.
• Develop and maintain documentation, user guides and training materials.
• Participate in implementations, upgrades, patches and enhancement projects while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience as an Oracle EBS Financial Functional Consultant.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Oracle E‑Business Suite R12.
• Deep understanding of accounting principles and end‑to‑end financial processes.
• Proven experience delivering Oracle EBS implementations, support and enhancements.
