Senior PHP Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior PHP Software Engineer who will own the architecture of new products, make critical technical decisions, and build scalable, cloud‑based systems from the ground up. You will work in an agile environment, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop new products from scratch, defining their overall architecture.
• Build and maintain core systems for a high‑scale, cloud‑based platform.
• Develop robust internal and external RESTful APIs.
• Write tested, maintainable, high‑quality code following best practices.
• Raise the bar on architecture patterns and engineering standards.
• Adapt agile processes to the needs of each project.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional PHP experience, with strong command of PHP 8+.
• Deep hands‑on experience with Laravel (experience with Symfony or Yii is a plus).
• Full‑stack awareness, from front‑end frameworks to database design.
• Strong understanding of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and relational schema design.
• Experience building distributed systems and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven ability to work with version control (Git) in collaborative teams.
