Senior Planning Engineer

About the role

Egis is looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to join its Riyadh office. The role focuses on mixed‑use building development projects, ensuring that project schedules are accurate, risks are managed, and delivery targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects and other stakeholders to define timelines, milestones and resource allocation.
• Analyse project data to identify risks, conflicts and optimisation opportunities.
• Prepare progress reports, forecasts and presentations for senior management and clients.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Implement and maintain project control systems to monitor progress and costs.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess schedule adherence and resolve issues.
• Mentor junior planning engineers and ensure compliance with Saudi building codes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience (minimum 13 years) in planning for mixed‑use building projects.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex schedule information.
• Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑paced environment.
