Senior Project Manager – Construction (Civil Engineering)

About the role

IMAR OVERSEAS KSA is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with a civil engineering background to lead large‑scale construction projects from initiation through handover. The role demands strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams while meeting strict timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and supervise all project phases from design review to final handover.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
• Ensure delivery within scope, cost and schedule constraints.
• Oversee site execution, enforcing safety, quality and contractual standards.
• Manage subcontractors, consultants and client communications.
• Conduct regular progress meetings and issue status reports.
• Review and approve technical submittals, shop drawings and material selections.
• Identify, monitor and mitigate project risks.
• Collaborate with commercial and procurement teams for project requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 20 years of construction experience, including extensive project‑manager responsibilities.
• Proven track record with reputable main/general contractors on large‑scale or high‑end fit‑out projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, cost control, contracts, procurement and commercial management.
• Excellent leadership, decision‑making, problem‑solving and client‑management skills.
• Experience in GCC/KSA markets is highly preferred; PMP certification is an advantage.
