Senior Project Manager

About the role

The Senior Project Manager leads the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT and business initiatives. This position owns high‑visibility projects, aligns them with strategic goals, and ensures governance standards are met while mentoring junior project managers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle for large‑scale or multiple concurrent IT projects.
• Define scope, goals, deliverables, and resource plans in line with organizational strategy.
• Manage budgets, timelines, risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Facilitate clear communication among stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
• Enforce Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies and maintain project documentation.
• Provide escalation support and mentorship to junior project managers.
• Oversee change management, risk assessments, and impact analyses.
• Conduct project reviews, lessons‑learned sessions, and contribute to portfolio reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, IT or related field (Master’s a plus).
• 5–7 years of project management experience, including at least 2 years leading large or complex IT projects.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to resolve conflicts, drive consensus, and solve problems analytically.

Required skills

• Project management tools: MS Project, Jira, Asana.
• Methodologies: Agile, Scrum, Waterfall (Hybrid).
• Technical domains: IT infrastructure, cloud, digital transformation.
• Certifications (preferred): PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI‑ACP, ITIL 4 Foundation.
