Senior Project Manager (Mega Civil Project - Roads)

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a mega civil infrastructure project focused on roads, highways, bridges and tunnels in an urban environment. The role is based in Riyadh and sits within our Infrastructure Division, reporting to the Project Director.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Director in overall project execution and delivery.
• Review design information, identify gaps or conflicts, and advise on design sufficiency.
• Coordinate with discipline managers and site team leaders to ensure effective communication.
• Develop and implement procedures for planning, supervising construction works and controlling project costs.
• Review and approve technical documents submitted to the client by contractors.
• Monitor progress, resource usage and stakeholder relationships, initiating corrective actions as needed.
• Apply change control, configuration management and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical input, resolve technical issues and share best‑practice project management processes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Engineering Management or a related field (preferred).
• Chartered institution membership preferred.
• Professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2.
• Over 20 years of total experience, with at least 15 years as a Project Manager.
• Extensive experience supervising complex civil infrastructure projects, primarily as a consultant.

Required skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• PRINCE2 certification.
• Deep expertise in civil engineering and construction engineering.
• Strong technical writing and analytical abilities.
