Senior Project Planning & Controls Engineer

About the role

Air Products (Middle East) FZE is seeking a Senior Project Planning & Controls Engineer to provide expert planning and project‑controls support for BHIG’s Project Portfolio Organization. You will ensure accurate scheduling, cost forecasting and performance reporting to deliver projects on time, within scope and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6, aligning engineering, procurement and construction activities.
• Prepare, monitor and update project budgets, cost forecasts and cash‑flow projections; track commitments and variances.
• Implement Air Products and BHIG project‑controls procedures, maintain progress measurement systems and performance dashboards.
• Provide transparent schedule and cost performance reporting to customers and stakeholders, addressing concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement and construction teams to validate progress data and support change‑management processes.
• Identify schedule and cost risks, develop mitigation plans and incorporate approved change requests into baseline plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in project planning and controls on oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
• Professional certification such as PMP or equivalent is preferred.
