Senior SAP SD Functional Consultant

About the role

Alfanar is hiring a Senior SAP SD Functional Consultant in Riyadh on a full-time basis. The consultant supports the project team in configuring business processes in the assigned SAP ERP modules, following defined policies and procedures so that departmental operational plans can be met.

Key responsibilities

• Provide subject-matter expertise on SAP best practices for implementing business processes in the assigned module, lead requirement-gathering workshops and help adopt standard SAP processes while minimizing development effort.
• Design, configure, test and implement business processes, keeping to SAP standards and minimizing customization.
• Write and run unit, integration and regression test scripts, and troubleshoot functional issues and bugs found during implementation, testing and post-GO-Live.
• Help manage SAP projects within time, quality and cost constraints, and document the implementation (business blueprint, configuration, functional specs, test plans, procedures).
• Resolve incidents according to pre-defined SLAs and ensure change requests follow the Request for Change process.
• Deliver periodic reports on task execution and escalation of complex issues, and coordinate system policies and procedures, including automation opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management Sciences and Systems or a relevant field.
• 6 to 10 years of experience.
• Ability to update soft and technical skills, deliver against schedules, solve problems and comply with health, safety and environmental procedures.

Required skills

• SAP SD functional knowledge and configuration.
• Application system analysis and design, and joint applications development.
