Senior Security Engineer (Saudi National) - Cloud Security

About the role

DeepSource Technologies is looking for a Security Engineer focused on securing its cloud environments. The position is exclusively open to Saudi nationals and involves implementing and maintaining robust security measures in the cloud infrastructure while ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement security architectures and frameworks for cloud solutions, especially in AWS and Azure environments.
• Configure and manage IAM roles, policies and permissions to enforce strong access controls and governance.
• Monitor cloud environments for security events, respond to incidents, run vulnerability assessments and remediate issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, regulations and standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Develop automation scripts and apply infrastructure as code (IaC) principles with tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Work with development, operations and compliance teams to embed security in the SDLC.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in cloud security roles, with a strong focus on AWS and Azure.
• Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), AWS Certified Security – Specialty or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Security best practices for cloud architectures and services.
• Knowledge of security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS and firewalls.
• Vulnerability scanning and remediation for cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with container security and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
