Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack

About the role

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack to join our Engineering team at Moyasar and help us build and improve our digital payment products and services. You'll work across the stack using Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Sidekiq, building reliable solutions used by businesses and merchants to accept and manage payments.

Key responsibilities

• Build and improve full‑stack features for Moyasar's payment products and merchant services.
• Develop backend services, REST APIs, and user‑facing web features.
• Build reliable integrations that support our payment ecosystem.
• Understand merchant and business needs and turn them into practical technical solutions.
• Take ownership of features from problem definition through development and production.
• Improve performance, reliability, scalability, and security of our systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑tested code.
• Contribute to architecture and technical decisions, review code, and support other engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
• Full‑stack development experience, including user‑facing web products.
• Good understanding of testing, performance, and scalable system design.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Fintech or digital payments experience is a strong plus.
