Senior Solution Architect – Core Networks

About the role

Capgemini Engineering is looking for a Senior Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of mission‑critical mobile core networks in Al‑Khobar, Saudi Arabia. You will own end‑to‑end architecture across EPC, 5G Core and IMS, ensuring carrier‑grade resilience, scalability and security for private connectivity platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own end‑to‑end core network architecture strategies, including capacity planning, redundancy models and geo‑resilience designs.
• Lead multi‑vendor integration across RAN, transport, OSS, MCX and security domains, managing technical inter‑dependencies.
• Produce High Level Design (HLD) and Low Level Design (LLD) documentation, operational runbooks and technical reference architectures.
• Drive vendor relationship management, evaluate capabilities and align road‑maps with program objectives.
• Mentor and manage the core network engineering team, fostering engineering excellence.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in telecom core network architecture, with a proven track record of large‑scale deployments.
• Deep expertise in EPC, 5G Core and IMS technologies, including subscriber management and policy & charging frameworks.
• Strong background in IP networking, routing protocols and security controls for carrier‑grade environments.
• Demonstrated ability to engage senior stakeholders and present technical solutions clearly.
