Senior Specialist - Business Planning

About the role

The Senior Specialist – Business Planning will support the development and execution of business planning activities across the organisation. This role enhances planning methodologies, coordinates schedules, monitors performance and provides analytical insights to drive effective decision‑making and achieve organisational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the improvement of planning methodologies, tools, templates and processes, ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Review project schedules and business plans to verify alignment with organisational priorities and approved requirements.
• Prepare and maintain integrated project schedules, tracking milestones, dependencies, critical paths and timelines.
• Analyse planning outputs to identify risks, delays, resource constraints and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and consolidate business planning reports, dashboards and performance updates for management and stakeholders.

• Ability to acquire and update relevant soft and technical skills related to the role.
• Deliver planned activities on schedule, using resources efficiently to meet operational targets.
• Problem‑solve emerging issues and escalate complex operational challenges when necessary.
