Senior Structural Engineer (TPE IV) – Saudi Arabia

About the role

Wood is seeking a TPE IV/Senior Structural Engineer to join its Al‑Khobar team. The role involves delivering structural and infrastructure designs for oil & gas, refinery, mining or large‑scale infrastructure projects across Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Design building structures, equipment foundations, pipe and cable‑tray supports and other civil‑structural elements.
• Produce, revise and check engineering deliverables against company procedures, standards and checklists.
• Supervise junior engineers, allocate work and manage billability.
• Coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to integrate inputs and ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct site visits, verify conditions, markup drawings and support as‑built activities.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations and manage submission of deliverables with quality checks.
• Evaluate technical bids, review vendor documents and manage subcontract scopes.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years (120 months) of experience in structural engineering for EPC projects.
• Proven experience with Saudi Arabian standards (Aramco, SABIC, Royal Commission, SBC, HCIS).
• Ability to lead teams, supervise junior staff and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel for site visits and training.
