Senior Substation Automation Engineer (SAS/RTU)

About the role

We are looking for a senior engineer to lead the design, configuration and commissioning of Substation Automation Systems (SAS) or Remote Terminal Units (RTU) for projects in Saudi Arabia. The role involves working closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable automation solutions for electrical substations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and commission Substation Automation Systems (SAS) and/or Remote Terminal Units (RTU).
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate automation solutions into substation infrastructure.
• Provide technical guidance and support during installation and testing phases.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in substation automation.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one commercial SAS solution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automation or Communication Engineering.
• Strong analytical abilities and teamwork orientation.
