Senior Tendering Engineer – MV LV

About the role

The Senior Tendering Engineer will lead the preparation of detailed technical and commercial proposals for medium‑voltage (MV) and low‑voltage (LV) projects. Working closely with sales, engineering, and production teams, the role ensures accurate cost estimates, compliance with client requirements, and smooth project execution from inquiry to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse RFQs, respond to customer inquiries and develop accurate cost estimates using standard tools.
• Prepare and submit techno‑commercial offers, coordinating with internal departments to clarify specifications.
• Support supplier negotiations by providing technical and cost inputs.
• Compile detailed proposals, review purchase orders and ensure alignment with authority matrices.
• Assist in service and modification offers during project execution, tracking budget, delivery and milestones.
• Apply ERP tools for production cost control, monitoring routing, process releases and cost accuracy.
• Join sales engineers in client meetings to deliver technical support and address queries from clients, consultants and contractors.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in tendering, cost estimation or related engineering roles.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret customer requirements and translate them into viable proposals.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple inquiries simultaneously.
• Proactive problem‑solver with a focus on quality, compliance and continuous process improvement.
