Senior Test Analyst

About the role

The Senior Test Analyst will validate complex web services and APIs for enterprise billing and revenue management systems, working onsite in Riyadh. The role involves designing, executing, and automating test scenarios to ensure data integrity and high‑quality releases for global customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design comprehensive test strategies and test cases for web services using SQL and industry tools.
• Execute API testing for REST and SOAP services, validating request‑response flows, data accuracy and integration consistency.
• Create detailed test data sets with SQL queries to validate complex billing scenarios and maintain data quality.
• Develop and run Postman collections for regression and smoke testing, and build reusable SOAPUI test suites for service contracts.
• Perform end‑to‑end validation of billing and revenue‑management workflows, combining UI tests, SQL checks and API validations.
• Document reproducible defects with logs, payloads and SQL evidence, and collaborate with developers and analysts to resolve issues.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals, test design techniques and defect lifecycle.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and SOAPUI, and advanced SQL skills for data validation.
• Ability to work onsite in a collaborative, cross‑functional environment and communicate clearly with stakeholders.

Required skills

• Structured Query Language (SQL) for test data creation and validation.
• REST and SOAP web services testing.
• ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent certification.
