Senior Testing Technician – Motors

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Testing Technician with extensive experience in electrical testing of medium- and high-voltage motors and generators. The role involves supervising and performing a range of diagnostic tests on site and in the workshop to ensure equipment reliability during service, erection, and commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and supervise tests such as Tan Delta, Partial Discharge (PD), DC, ELCID, RSO, Wedge Tightness, and Run Test.
• Handle testing instruments, record results, and generate detailed test reports.
• Inspect RTDs, BTDs, and auxiliary components during initial testing phases.
• Supervise electrical testing activities at customer sites and in the repair workshop.
• Manage testing and related electrical tasks during preventive maintenance, erection, and commissioning projects.

Required profile

• Strong hands-on experience with motor and generator testing.
• Proven ability to lead on-site testing and inspection activities.
• Solid knowledge of test equipment and relevant electrical standards.
