Senior Treasury Accountant

About the role

The Senior Treasury Accountant will oversee the company’s bank accounts, ensure sufficient liquidity, and record all treasury‑related accounting entries. This role supports daily cash operations and provides strategic cash‑flow insights to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor cash balances across all bank accounts and generate alerts when funds are insufficient.
• Prepare and share monthly projected cash‑flow statements.
• Maintain relationships with banks, manage loan applications, and track repayment schedules.
• Handle banking documentation, including letters of credit, lines of credit, and term‑loan renewals.
• Process petty‑cash and supplier payments via checks or wire transfers, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations and daily POS collection reconciliations.
• Generate periodic cash‑flow reports and analyse trends for management.
• Compile year‑end treasury transaction data for audit purposes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting with a focus on treasury functions.
• Fluent in written and spoken Arabic and English.
