Senior Wayfinding Designer

About the role

WSP is seeking a Senior Wayfinding Designer to lead the creation and delivery of wayfinding, signage, and placemaking solutions across a variety of built environments. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to shape user navigation experiences that meet client objectives and set industry benchmarks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead concept development, design, and implementation of wayfinding projects from inception to completion.
• Develop creative direction for signage and placemaking, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.
• Prepare compelling narratives and presentations to communicate design strategies to clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and other consultants to integrate wayfinding solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of creativity and collaboration.
• Manage project schedules, resources, and workflow to deliver high‑quality design deliverables on time.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in wayfinding design.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Urban Design, Graphic Design, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in wayfinding, signage, or environmental graphics across diverse project types.
• Proven ability to lead complex wayfinding projects from concept through completion, supported by a strong portfolio.
• Comprehensive knowledge of local regulations, codes, and standards governing wayfinding in the Middle East.
