Senior Wet Utilities Engineer – Full Time

About the role

ARX is seeking a Senior Wet Utilities Engineer to join its Riyadh office. The role focuses on the design, planning and supervision of wet utility networks for large‑scale infrastructure projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Design and oversee wet utility systems, including potable water, wastewater/sewerage, irrigation/TSE and fire water networks.
• Perform and review hydraulic calculations, network modelling, pipe sizing and related engineering analyses.
• Ensure designs comply with local regulations, standards and best practices.
• Coordinate utility corridors, crossings, connections, diversions and interfaces with other engineering disciplines.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, plans and documentation.
• Review technical deliverables from engineers, designers and BIM/CAD teams.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support multidisciplinary project teams.
• Liaise with government authorities, clients and stakeholders to meet project requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience on infrastructure projects with a focus on wet utilities.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of local wet utility regulations and standards.
