Server – Hospitality Role at Fairmont Makkah

About the role

The Fairmont Makkah is seeking a dedicated Server to deliver exceptional service to guests in a luxury hotel environment. The role requires a strong focus on hospitality standards, menu knowledge, and seamless coordination with the restaurant team.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate Fairmont’s Service Plus Standards and provide friendly, professional service to guests.
• Maintain full knowledge of the menu, beverage list and special promotions, answering guest queries accurately.
• Handle cash and non‑cash transactions, prepare shift end reports and ensure proper deposit procedures.
• Operate all outlet equipment, follow health, safety and recycling procedures, and report any security concerns.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in food & beverage operations within a luxury hotel.
• Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving and organizational skills; able to work in a fast‑changing environment.
• Excellent English communication; additional language is a plus.
• Energetic, enthusiastic team player with a customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Cash handling and transaction processing.
• Operation of restaurant equipment and POS systems.
