Service Technician Apprentice

About the role

Join NOV as a Service Technician Apprentice and start a hands‑on career in the oil and gas industry. This entry‑level program combines on‑the‑job training with structured development to build competence across hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform assigned technical tasks and support senior technicians.
• Follow NOV and HSE policies, reporting any safety hazards.
• Complete milestones defined in the Individual Development Plan on schedule.
• Undertake all competency units (technical and non‑technical) and pass required DSL exams.
• Prepare and present quarterly development reports, including OJT, training and competency progress.
• Submit daily reports on ongoing training and competency assignments.
• Contribute to safety culture initiatives and ensure safe work practices.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma or recent graduate (within 3 years) from a technical college.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• No prior experience required; strong willingness to learn.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
