Service Trainee – Industrial Scientific Facility

About the role

As a Service Trainee you will join a brand‑new industrial scientific facility in Saudi Arabia, working under senior engineers to gain hands‑on experience with high‑precision analytical equipment used in the energy and industrial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with the installation and commissioning of scientific instruments.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance, cleaning and basic repairs to ensure equipment uptime.
• Support calibration activities in line with Saudi Arabian and international standards.
• Maintain accurate digital service logs, performance records and spare‑parts inventory.
• Follow HSE protocols and Saudi industrial regulations at all times.
• Accompany field service teams to client sites to develop troubleshooting and communication skills.

Required profile

• Recent Diploma or Associate Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Applied Physics or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic.
• Strong mechanical or electrical troubleshooting aptitude.
• Valid Saudi driver’s licence or willingness to obtain one and travel to industrial sites.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work in a multicultural team.
