ServiceNow Engineer

About the role

The ServiceNow Engineer will design, configure, develop, integrate and support the ServiceNow platform to meet business and technical requirements. You will ensure platform stability, security, performance and scalability while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, test, deploy and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, forms, fields, tables, roles, groups, assignment rules, SLAs, reports and dashboards.
• Translate approved business requirements and user stories into scalable technical solutions and participate in requirement workshops.
• Perform unit, integration and regression testing, resolve defects and support deployments.
• Troubleshoot platform issues, conduct root‑cause analysis and monitor platform health, performance, integrations and scheduled jobs.
• Maintain technical documentation, configuration records, deployment procedures and support guides.
• Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to administrators, support teams and business users, and coordinate with analysts, product owners, QA, infrastructure, security and implementation partners.
• Identify automation opportunities, optimize the platform and improve user experience.
• Support production incidents and participate in on‑call activities as required.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, administration or platform support.
• Strong practical experience with ServiceNow ITSM/CSM and ITIL‑based service management processes.
• Experience with Agile delivery, user stories, sprint planning, testing, release management and production support.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex platform issues, perform root‑cause analysis and resolve critical incidents.
• Relevant certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, ITIL Foundation, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2025 Certified Foundations Associate.
