SIS Engineer

About the role

Yokogawa is seeking a motivated SIS Engineer to join its global team of 18,000 employees. The role involves designing engineering solutions, supporting standards development, and contributing to product and solution development across various industrial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Design engineering solutions and conduct feasibility testing to validate designs.
• Assist in drafting engineering standards and specifications under senior guidance.
• Perform inspections of engineering works and existing installations, recommending remedial actions.
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, acting as primary contact within a contract management plan.
• Identify process shortcomings and apply change‑management programs for improvement.
• Support knowledge‑management systems by providing advice and assistance.
• Participate in product and solution development activities, analyzing customer needs.
• Work within established project‑management plans to achieve defined goals.
• Develop personal capabilities through training, coaching, and professional accreditation.
