Site Manager (Electrical)

About the role

The Electrical Site Manager will lead the execution of 380kV transmission line (TL) projects, overseeing all electrical construction activities, site coordination, subcontractor management, quality, safety and progress monitoring to ensure timely completion in line with SEC standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical construction activities for 380kV TL projects.
• Plan and monitor site execution, manpower, materials, equipment and daily progress.
• Coordinate with SEC, consultants, subcontractors and project teams for smooth execution.
• Ensure all works comply with SEC standards, approved drawings, specifications and project procedures.
• Supervise construction, installation and all other TL‑related activities.
• Monitor project schedule, identify delays and implement corrective actions to meet milestones.
• Review drawings, method statements, ITPs and technical documents before execution.
• Manage subcontractors to ensure productivity, quality, safety and timely completion.
• Coordinate with Civil, Protection & Control, Planning, QA/QC, HSE and Procurement teams.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure proper closure of technical and construction issues.
• Prepare progress reports and provide regular updates to the Project Manager and management.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and achieve zero‑incident project execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.).
• 12‑15 years of experience in transmission line projects, including 380kV TL.
• At least 5 years in a Site Manager or Construction Manager role.
• Hands‑on experience with SEC projects and SEC construction standards.
• Strong knowledge of TL execution techniques.
• Proven leadership, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
