Site Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Kent is seeking a Site Mechanical Engineer to join its team in Khurais, Saudi Arabia. The role involves delivering mechanical engineering solutions for large‑scale energy projects while ensuring compliance with international and Saudi Aramco standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review mechanical design packages covering piping systems, static and rotating equipment, HVAC, firefighting and utility systems.
• Prepare engineering deliverables such as mechanical datasheets, equipment and piping layouts, isometric drawings, material take‑offs (MTO) and technical reports.
• Verify that all designs and documents comply with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards, ASME, API, ASTM, NFPA and other applicable codes.
• Review vendor documents and shop drawings to ensure technical accuracy and conformity.

Required profile

Required skills

• Mechanical design and piping engineering
• Knowledge of HVAC, firefighting and utility systems
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards
• Proficiency with ASME, API, ASTM and NFPA codes
• Ability to produce datasheets, layouts, isometric drawings and material take‑offs
• Technical reporting and documentation skills
