Social Media Trainee

About the role

SMART is seeking a Social Media Trainee to help strengthen its presence across major social platforms. This is an ideal opportunity for a student or recent graduate eager to gain hands‑on experience in digital marketing and community management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage a monthly content calendar for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X and TikTok.
• Write and adapt captions in Arabic and English, schedule posts and monitor publishing deadlines.
• Coordinate with designers and content creators to produce campaign assets.
• Engage with followers by monitoring comments, messages, mentions and reviews, responding according to company guidelines.
• Support coverage of events, campaigns and announcements on social channels.
• Track trends, competitor activity and platform updates.
• Assist with paid social campaigns through audience research and performance tracking.
• Compile performance reports covering reach, engagement, follower growth, clicks, leads and conversions, and suggest improvements.

Required profile

• Student or recent graduate in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, Media or a related field.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X and TikTok.
• Ability to write clear captions in Arabic and English and meet publishing deadlines.
• Strong communication, coordination and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Meta Business Suite or similar social‑media scheduling tools.
• Meta Ads Manager.
• Google Analytics.
• Basic photography or videography.
