Software Engineer - Industrial Systems

About the role

The Software Engineer – Industrial Systems will design, develop, maintain and support software applications that drive our manufacturing operations. Working closely with IT, production, maintenance and engineering teams, you will ensure that software and machine systems are reliable, secure and continuously improved.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and support software applications, utilities and tools for manufacturing processes.
• Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
• Write, test, debug and troubleshoot code; manage software versions, configurations and dependencies.
• Design, maintain databases and write SQL queries required by operational systems.
• Create and maintain APIs and system interfaces as needed.
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot software on Industrial PCs, workstations and machine controllers.
• Support HMI/SCADA platforms, manage machine software configurations, licenses and backups.
• Coordinate with machine manufacturers and software vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
