Software Tester (QA Engineer) – Web & AI Applications

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Software Tester (QA Engineer) to ensure the quality, reliability and performance of our web and AI‑powered applications. You will work closely with developers, product managers and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality software.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute test plans, cases and scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform manual and automated testing of web applications across browsers and devices.
• Validate functionality, usability, performance, security and compatibility.
• Identify, document and track defects using bug‑tracking tools and verify fixes.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers and designers to clarify requirements and improve product quality.
• Test RESTful APIs and back‑end services through functional and integration testing.
• Ensure data accuracy in PostgreSQL or MongoDB databases by writing basic validation queries.
• Participate in system, regression and user‑acceptance testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support deployment workflows.
• Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies and tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Manual and automated testing techniques.
• Test case management and bug‑tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
• Basic knowledge of front‑end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including basic query writing.
