Spa Therapist

About the role

Join the luxury spa team at The Ritz‑Carlton Amaala and deliver premium massage and body treatment services to discerning guests. You will use a range of techniques, props and products to create a relaxing and therapeutic experience while upholding Marriott’s high standards of safety and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Provide massage services using appropriate props and products.
• Perform body treatments such as scrubs, wraps and hydrotherapy.
• Assess guest needs and check for contraindications before each service.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and maintain a comfortable environment.
• Arrange and keep the workstation and treatment area clean, sanitized and well‑stocked.
• Promote and sell spa services and retail products.
• Monitor treatment timing and adhere to the daily schedule.
• Handle inappropriate guest behavior according to Marriott SOPs.
• Maintain current licensure, certifications and safety training as required.
• Report accidents, injuries or unsafe conditions to management.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of experience delivering spa or massage services.
• Ability to assess guest health information and follow safety protocols.
• Professional appearance, strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Physical ability to stand, walk and lift objects up to 10 lb for extended periods.
